Peter peppers are a pepper from the Appalachia of the Eastern US. They get they there name from the fact they tend to resemble a male sex organ. After everyone has a good laugh and actually tries them, they tend to find that the Peter Pepper actually has a good flavor and makes a beautiful spicy deep red paprika when freeze dried good for spicing up breakfast or burgers.
