Description
We make our poblano powder by starting with full size poblano peppers that are then roasted old school over the campfire to get the full flavor and aroma. They are then promptly freeze-dried and powdered to capture the essence of the campfire. Poblano has a unique flavor that is a requirement for certain dishes such as white chicken chili. The next best substitute to a market fresh poblano in August is a campfire roasted and freeze dried one in January.
